In the lovely loire valley, between saumur and baugé, and not far from the pretty village of mouliherne, a well restored 2 bedroom centrally heated cottage in a garden of 1667m². the south facing home is in very good order ready to move into. on the ground floor there is a large living-dining room with a stone fireplace, a fitted kitchen and upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms with mansard ceilings and a bathroom. adjoining the house there are 2 old piggeries and a wood store that could be converted to make further accommodation. most of the garden is laid to grass but there is a vegetable plot and a few fruit trees. the village, which is around a mile away, has a baker, superette, bar restaurant and part time butcher. there is a tennis court and a lake and plenty of woods for dog walking out of the hot summer sun. the nearest supermarket is in vernoil, about 10 minutes away, and there is an excellent golf course – in the top 20 in france – in baugé. saumur and the river loire are an easy drive away and there are regional airports with flights to the uk in tours, angers, poitiers and nantes.
